(To be perfectly honest, the username started from a yoyo joke before I fully learned I liked coding. Funny how that works.)
I earned my MS in Physics in May 2024 and like to apply good software engineering to scientific projects. I have also taught high school physics/math and have TAed college physics, as well as developed and taught a computational physics workshop for undergraduate research.
- I am currently working as a researcher for quantum science.
- I contribute to the Labscript-Suite, an open source software suite for automating experiments.
- I help write the firmware for the DDS-Sweeper, an agile (and affordable) rf source that uses a raspberry pi pico microcontroller.
- I also write code for a number of other quantum and optical science projects that I'm hoping make it here soon when they're ready to be public.
- My MS Project using Machine Learning to classify cluster galaxies. I defended my masters project on 5/14/24 and have included the presentation and writeup in the repository.
- I made a board game personality quiz with Shelfside!
- Simulating Circular Standing Waves via Advection CircWaves
- CERN Particle Physics Detector ROOT 3D Modeling ALICE_FT0-A - I also created the model for the FT0-C as well!
- Simulation of Galaxy Tidal Interactions GalaxySim
