What happened?

After migrating the directory, I cannot log in.

How can we reproduce the problem?

I can reproduce the problem by doing the following steps:

export EXPORT_TYPES="directory"
# current directory is sqlite
stalwart-mail --config ../etc/config.toml --export ./
# change directory to internal
stalwart-mail --config ../etc/config.toml --import ./

The import/export tool only migrates Stalwart's store (including the internal directory). It does not support migrating an external directory to the internal directory, this needs to be done manually.

The easiest way is to change your directory to internal and then create any missing accounts you can't find in the webadmin.

If proceed as in reproduce, can find accounts in the admin web, but you cannot log in.

Try setting passwords for these accounts.

Login doesn't work even after changing password in WebUI.

Try setting the log level to trace and check your logs.
If you create a new account, are you able to login?
