zsh-edit overwrites bindkeys (instead of wrapping)

I have a bindkey on delete and backspace in my .zshrc. I load zsh-edit via zinit async loading (wait0). zsh-edit blindly overwrites these bindkeys.

I think zsh-edit should overwrite bindkeys only if not set or set to a zsh default.
