Proposal To Archive The Esprima Project

The OpenJS Foundation is proposing that the Esprima project be archived.

This is due to us being unable to reach the maintainers via email for many months.

Note the final decision on archiving is made via CPC consensus and with the approval of the maintainers of the project.

If folks believe this project should not be archived please comment in this thread.

I think it'd be beneficial to add what other alternatives are there to this project.

On a side note, there are a few changes people are proposing to add support for ecmascript 2018-2024 to esprima-python. It should be very straightforward to bring those changes to this repository.
