Alien Challenge MAME audio regression fixed since 0.234

For some reason audio is incorrect from FBNeo builds after 40f4193 before MAME fixed no background audio in 0.234

MAME:

Thanks, I'll try to figure it out!
btw: I tried the earlier code, and the missing instruments are still missing. Also, it seems like I can't get the audio cpu to write any of the fm registers. (it's the fm instruments (ymf262) that are missing)

Findings, so far:
The missing sound never worked in fbneo (I tried old exe's.. If you have one where it works, please zip and upload it here!), or mame before .234
in .234, came Aaron Giles's new ymfm soundchip emulation, which fixed the sound.
ymfm isn't perfect, though, it has tons of bugs with other games. I wouldn't consider porting ymfm until it's a bit better.

I'm not totally sure how to go about fixing this, though.

Since MAME 0.275, fixes were made to YMFM to address audio issues in some games. What's most noticeable there is the music improvements in Battlantis compared to previous MAME versions and that the bootup jingle in Beast Busters is now correct.

Yes, but there's about 30 other issues that need to be fixed before it gets my attention. Of course, if someone else would like to implement ymfm into fbneo before me, that would be nice, too
