How much system source mediamtx need

Hi!

When using mediamtx on ubuntu 22.04 VDS, how much system source I need? I have 4gb ram and 4 core cpu.
How many different srt streams can this configuration serve simultaneously?

Another question, can we add buffer for srt in mediamtx.yml? I couldn't find it.

Hello, this has been answered many times. If you are using MediaMTX without re-encoding anything (i.e. without using FFmpeg or GStreamer inside MediaMTX), then in 99% of cases the bottleneck is the network throughput. CPU and RAM consumption is minimal. Therefore, make sure that the network bandwidth between the server and clients is large enough to serve all intended streams.
