If you want to use Invidious in FreeTube you need to choose an Invidious instance that has the API enabled, which means hosting your own Invidious instance as all of the public ones have disabled their APIs. |

But why is freetube making note of these public instance's with 'View all Invidious instance information' in the general setting page while at the same time these are not usable ? That's a bit confusing, it pretends you can use them as a fallback when the local API is not working. |

One of the main reasons to be able completely move to freetube from youtube is that once in a while I get this message:
Error: YouTube has blocked your IP address from watching videos. Please try switching to a different VPN or proxy.
Falling Back to Invidious API
Invidious API error: SyntaxError: Unexpected token 'A', "API disabled" is not valid JSON
Legacy formats are not available for this video
If I open a New Private Window in Firefox and want watch a video then I get the following message:
Sign in to confirm you’re not a bot
That is the problem.
The thing is that I would expect freetube to fallback to invidious, but it's not working, but when I try it in the browser it works, so I would expect that it also works in Freetube. Anybody an idea why this is ?
