Tools Catalog | Opinions on where to publish tutorials

I'd like input on a decision related to the tools catalog.

Part of the schema for tools includes a section for learning resources. So for example, GitHub Discussions (where you are seeing this) is identified as a community forum tool for developer communities. How do you set it up and use it for success? That's the idea, in addition to identifying the tool, there should be tutorials explaining best practices for DevRel to use the tool.

So, where do the tutorials go?

a) DevRel Foundation Blog

Advantages:

• will be source of a steady stream of content
• capabilities of the blog already in place
• promotes tools catalog for discovery with each tutorial that publishes

Disadvantages

• may feel temporal rather than permanent as a resource
• may feel like the advice of a single author rather than a collaborative project
• unclear if this scales

b) Tools Catalog

Advantages:

• keeps tutorials near the tool definitions
• can reuse website blogging system as a way of rendering them

Disadvantages:

• may be confusing to have the content located elsewhere

c) Off-site

Disadvantages:

• loose association as a devrel foundation resource
• no influence over changes to the original content or it being taken down
