If you had the perfect Career Manual to help guide professional development what would it look like?

• is it like an employee handbook or manual?
• does it have chapters or a series of articles?
• does it have a repository of job descriptions and titles?
• does it have interview questions and guidance on building a hiring panel?

I would look to find building blocks I could use for creating a job description that makes clear expectations and skills.

I would use it to find a career progression chart:

• as an ic: to understand what is expected in order to move to the next level
• as a mgr: to be able to judge fairly growth opportunities and requirements in proper leveling
