Empty annotations in ADE20KChallenge2016

Hello,

I found out that some training images in the ADE20KChallenge2016 have empty annotations (see below). I am surprised that I have not found anyone talking about this, so I may be wrong somewhere...

Is this normal? Is there a fix?
